Before submitting a full application, the Hartz Foundation asks interested organizations to submit some brief information for review first. Based on the information submitted, the Hartz Foundation will invite organizations to submit a full application.
If your 501(c)(3) organization is interested in applying for a grant, please email the following information to the Hartz Foundation by April 1st:
- Name and address of your organization
- Name, address, phone number, and email address of your organization’s contact person
- Copy of IRS tax-free eligibility status
- Purpose of grant
- Project budget
After review of the above submitted information, and if approved, the Hartz Foundation will email you to complete and submit our complete grant application. The deadline for the full grant application is June 1st. The Hartz Foundation Board meets mid-July to review and approve grant applications.
